Sileni Estate Grand Reserve Peak Syrah

You’ve got to be good to reach the peak. And to put something under their Grand Reserve Peak label, the guys at Sileni Estate in Hawke’s Bay use their best fruit from their best vineyards in the Bridge Pa District.

A few years back this label reached the absolute peak – making the top 1% of over 17,000 wines at the Decanter World Wine Awards! The 2019 is now here, under a fancy slick new label, and already getting a good thumbs up, 4 1/2 Star from the Cuisine magazine panel.

They said “The nose is dense and fragrant with dark plums and spice that provide an aromatic lift. A youthful, cooler style of syrah with juicy red-fruited notes up front, but darker fruits and spices that roll through on the supple palate providing complexity. An elegant example with power, length and drive.”
