Rua Pinot Rosé is a label that Rosé lovers go berserk over every release. The new 2022 is here and all we can say is, well, hello there gorgeous!
It’s a new bottle, a new label but the same delicious strawberries and cream style with a refreshing dry finish. It is seriously, seriously yum! The new label design features Celmisia semicordata which is actually the fancy name for the NZ alpine daisy. This little flower can found flourishing in and around the vineyards and among the harsh Otago climate.
Rua was formerly part of Akarua, formed by Sir Clifford and Lady Mary Skeggs back in 1995 but more recently sold to iconic French wine producer Edmond de Rothschild Heritage. The Skeggs family still own and operate 90 hectares of established vineyards in the Pisa and Bannockburn sub regions of Otago and have kept the iconic Rua label under its new Mora brand.
In short, this is the same Rua you know and love owned and operated by the same family that started it all those years ago!
This is bound to be a huge, huge hit for the summer ahead. But don’t risk it, this label notoriously sells out in super quick time so make sure you secure a stash for your summer supplies.
Damn, you're looking young for your age!
