Rojo (pronounced rock-o) is 100% Grenache (called Garnacha in Spain) from vines that are 40 years old. Over the years this blockbuster Spanish number has taken NZ by storm so if you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?
This is the latest ’22 vintage of Rojo Granrojo Garnacha that’s scored 92/100 with The Wine Orbit’s Sam Kim who said “A flavoursome palate offering juicy fruit flavours with plump mouthfeel, finishing long and silky.”
Soft, juicy, rich and highly gluggable red that’ll please the crowds for sure, Pinot Noir or Merlot lovers will love this softer style red especially. Irresistibly easy to slurp by itself, but goes well with red meats and all types of cheeses.
