They are one of the true legends of the story of wine in Aussie and although they’ve been a bit quieter in recent times it’s fair to say the legends of Orlando are back!

With a history dating back to 1874 and winner of over 1,000 top end awards since the 1980s these legendary wine labels have been given a new lease of life and we’re stoked to see them back on our shelves! We’re talking about legends like Centenary Hill Shiraz, Lawsons Padthaway Shiraz, Jacaranda Coonawarra Cabernet and the Steingarten Eden Valley Riesling.

This is the 2015 vintage of Orlando Bungalow Lane Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon and it’s a classic big, powerful style red we’ve come to know and love from this part of the wine world.

93/100 (Tyson Stelzer, James Halliday’s Wine Companion)
“Vines planted 1993–1996. Matured 19 months in 75/25% new French oak/new American oak hogsheads. The great 2015 vintage has built a powerful Barossa cabernet of deep blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, with the solid dark chocolate and coffee bean backing of new oak. Finely poised tannins make this a vintage for the short–medium term.”

91/100 (Huon Hooke)
“Deep colour with rich, vanilla, chocolate and malted-milkshake aromas, starting to show a little development. It’s rich and fleshy in the mouth, with abundant drying tannins and appealing texture, the balance and length also spot-on. It’s also well priced.”

A legend made with the cellar in mind. Try tucking this one away up until 2030.
