Mount Ridge Riesling

Giesen can proudly lay claim to New Zealand’s number one selling Riesling. Anything that doesn’t make it into that massively popular label usually finds its way into the likes of their bang for buck label Mount Ridge.

On a shoestring budget for a red for that upcoming function, party or wedding? Or maybe you’re just a tight arse that likes to spend bugger all but still be drinking decent stuff? Mount Ridge tastes the part and looks the part of a wine worth more than this measly price tag.

Using a blend of fruit from Marlborough and Waipara. They’ll tell you it’s got flavours of lemon zest, kaffir lime, musk and honeysuckle…we just reckon this is dangerously drinkable, juicy, succulent medium sweet style Riesling that is pretty bloody hard to be at this price.

Oh, and it’s slightly lower in alcohol at just 9.5% so an ideal lunchtime quaffer!
