Lloyd Cellars Carneros Chardonnay

We like to think of this like Californian Chardonnay on steroids! A seriously good wine from a prized sub region of the Napa Valley, made a damn good winemaker with bucket loads of experience!

Robert Lloyd is the owner and winemaker at Lloyd Cellars and he’s been around the traps for over two decades crafting wine for some of the big names like La Crema and Rombauer. Now he’s got his own label and he’s making quite the name for himself crafting big, luxuriously full flavoured Californian wines.

Using fruit from three top vineyards, barrel fermented for 10 months in American oak and lees stirred right up until bottling, a winemaking technique to give extra richness and complexity. This has just got layers of rich, tropical fruits and vanilla flavours. A big, powerful style that’s like an iron fist wrapped in a silky glove!
