Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc. It ain’t just New Zealand’s most famous Marlborough Sauvy. It’s our most famous white wine and basically the name that put Aotearoa on the world wine map!

The Cloudy Bay label sits under the umbrella of French luxury giants Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy and the world waits with anticipation every year at the release of their Sauvignon Blanc – wow, talk about pressure!

Wine lovers across the globe trip over themselves to get their mits on a bottle or two of this world class Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. This new 2023 release will not disappoint one bit. We’ve emptied a couple of bottles already and boy this is some seriously good SauvyB, as always. Think of it as the Maserati of Marlborough Sauv. It’s why Bob Campbell’s given the previous 9 of the previous 11 vintages of this label a whopping 95/100. What pressure?!

And this latest ’23 release did it again with another 95 Point score from Bob who said “Crisp, uncompromisingly dry sauvignon blanc with lemongrass, saline/oyster shell, red capsicum and pineapple flavours. Intense, vibrant wine that lives up to its exalted reputation.”

Winemaker Nikolaï Saint George was just as excited with this latest release too – “What truly stands out this year is a remarkable richness, unlike anything we’ve seen in previous vintages.”

2022 marked a special moment in Cloudy Bay’s history with their bespoke, redesigned bottles. In true Cloudy Bay style what you’re holding in your hand is pretty special! Yang Shen, Cloudy Bay Estate Director, says “We wanted to further embrace the beautiful Richmond Ranges that can be seen from our winery, and which were such a core part of the original Cloudy Bay label.”
