In a space that was formerly a sheep farm is now Camshorn, a vineyard that sits nestled between two hills and is nicely sheltered from the prevailing winds. In a nod to its sheepy history they’ve decided to slap portraits of sheep on their snazzy new looking labels.
This is the Camshorn Chardonnay using fruit from Hawke’s Bay featuring the thick and curly haired Cotswold sheep (with bangs that like they’re straight from the 80s!).
A fruit driven style with creamy citrus and peach fruit flavours, a Chardonnay that offers great bang for your buck in our opinion. Heck, it even took out a Silver medal at the NZ International Wine Show which ain’t baaaaaa’d at all for a Chardonnay at this kinda price.
