They’ve used the best parcels of fruit from their Gimblett Gravels vineyards and produced a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) and Merlot (35%) that’s got the touch of class we knew this wine would deliver!
This 2020 vintage scored a huge 95/100 with Master of Wine Bob Campbell who said “Intense, almost juicy red with impressive density and power. Cassis, blackberry, red-fleshed plum, dark chocolate and liquorice characters give a mega-flavour hit.”
The winemaker waffles on about its dense colour, brooding dark plum, cassis and dried herb notes and fine tannins. We just thought if you’re into your serious style Bordeaux reds this is a must have.
It’s got potential to go for 10-15 years so make sure you drink some now, cellar some for later.
