Villa Maria are no strangers to the winners podium – in fact they spend just as much time up on those stages at wine award shows as they do making the wine! They’re NZ’s most awarded winery but to see their entry level “Private Bin” labels like this one winning Gold at major NZ wine shows is bloody good going.
Villa have got vineyards dotted all over the show and in crafting this one they’ve sourced grapes from mainly Waipara and sunny Hawke’s Bay, with a little bit of Auckland in there too! A soft, rich and spicy white with a touch of sweetness. Smart buying.
