This is the Nautilus Estate Chardonnay from Marlborough and, well, pretty much like everything they produce it’s all class! It scored 5 Stars with critic Michael Cooper who called it “delicious in its youth. It has a fragrant, rich bouquet, leading into a full-bodied, savoury, complex wine with concentrated peachy, mealy and biscuity flavours, vibrant acidity and a long finish. Best drinking 2024+.”
First launched in 1985 as a premium, family owned NZ winery. These days Nautilus are part of a bigger (and very prestigious) family – The Family of Twelve.
Twelve of NZ’s most iconic, successful wineries that share information, ideas and even the odd secret or two.
