Make room in the fridge, you'll need it!
Leftfield Rose
2021, Hawkes Bay New Zealand
Bright, juicy summer fruits with a refreshingly dry finish. Utterly moreish, it's sheer deliciousness!
Made by Te Awa using Merlot grapes from the sunny Hawke's Bay
The label features the Moon Shell Moth which apparently "migrates to Left Field on the Eve of Nothing Doing to hitch rides on the lantern boats" Hmm.
Utterly moreish, refreshingly dry, sheer deliciousness in a bottle! Te Awa Left Field Rose. One of our favourite Rosés is back with a 2021 that looks set to be another massive hit with those that love their drink a little bit pink.
Produced by the Te Awa bunch using some of their top notch Merlot grapes down there in the Bay and while it’s obvious they’re making some seriously, seriously smart Rosé we did wonder on earth they’re smoking down there when they came up with the label. Featuring a “Moon Shell Moth” which apparently “migrates to Left Field on the Eve of Nothing Doing to hitch rides on the lantern boats…cliff dwelling pirates consider the moth good luck and kept them as mascots.” Riiiight.
Like a bowl of bright, fresh, juicy summer berry fruits with a dry finish. Grab a case or two now and make sure you clear space in the fridge, you’ll need it.
