Verde translates to “Green” but after the way this fizz has thunder bolted through the wine show circuit in recent years they ought to consider calling it “Golde”!

By our count they’ve taken out seven Gold medals and two Trophies in the past four years plus a “Top Value” award in 2019 by Bob Campbell MW in The Real Review.

Produced from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in Gizzy, the wine’s been aged on lees for 18 months (a technique winemakers use to add richness, flavour and aroma). A Champagne look-a-like at price that makes you wonder how on earth they do it.
