The Rapaura Series is the very best that Stoneleigh produce. Using single vineyard fruit from their vineyards in Marlborough’s “Golden Mile”, an area along Rapaura Road renowned for producing the best flavoured fruit in the Marlborough region.
Aside from using the power of stones winemaker Jamie also gave a portion of the wine some time in oak and lees stirred to add weight and complexity. Food match this one like a pro and take all the credit – grilled crayfish with a lime and butter sauce, smoked salmon, pesto chicken or garlic shrimp.
