Triple Gold medal winning Marlborough SauvyB that caught the eye of wine critics, judges and even mega star Korean pop artists! Yep, a pop star from the world famous band BTS was seen quaffing a glass of one of Russian Jack SauvyB during an interview – let’s just say the phone’s been ringing hot with queries since then!

Gold medal at Marlborough Wine Show.

Enough said. Triple Gold medal winning Sauvignon Blanc for under $15 is ticking all the boxes and then some. Using Wairau and Awatere Valley fruit this is a classic Marlborough Sauvy – crisp, zingy tropical fruit flavours and a mouth wateringly refreshing finish.
Russian Jack was a sailor from Latvia (not quite Russia but pretty close) who lived a nomadic life in the Wellington area for some 50 years. He was well known for carrying his life in sacks over his shoulder and was a keen fruit picker for vineyards in the region. He became something of a local legend which is why you’ll find a bronze statue of him down there in Masterton.
